Developing Fabric Properties for Knits and Woven is going to be held at NCSU College of Textiles from Sep 28 - Oct 02, 2009.
If you are involved with fabric development, sourcing or merchandising of fabrics this course is for you. Program content is segmented to cover knits
and woven separately. Instruction is scheduled for 2.5 days for each fabric type so you can select either Knits or Woven or both. The mechanics of
knitting and weaving will be reviewed, followed by detailed information on selecting fibers, yarns and fabric types for developing specific products.
Fabric designs and associated fabric properties will also be discussed.
